The Naloxone Project is a national, medical and public healthfocused nonprofit based in Denver, Colorado, dedicated to addressing the opioid crisis and preventing overdose deaths. The Naloxone Project partners with medical settings, first responder agencies, public health entities, and schools to ensure naloxone is readily available and that those most likely to witness or experience an overdose are prepared to act. Job Description: We are seeking a Program Coordinator to support the oversight, coordination, and data administration for the Prehospital Addiction Care Consortium (PACC), an association of more than 80 EMS, fire, police, sheriff, and co-responder agencies united to address the opioid and addiction crisis.

PACC advances evidence-based practice and drives innovation in overdose prevention, pain management, and the treatment of substance use disorders, helping position The Naloxone Project as a national leader in prehospital addiction care. As the Program Coordinator, you will play a key role in advancing these efforts by supporting agency engagement, coordinating program activities, managing data and reporting processes, and helping implement initiatives that expand access to lifesaving interventions.

We envision a future where every first responder and law enforcement agency identifies individuals at risk for overdose, responds with compassion and dignity, provides overdose prevention education, and ensures access to naloxone and other evidence-based resources. In this role, you will help turn that vision into reality by strengthening partnerships and supporting innovative programs that improve patient outcomes and save lives.

Support the expansion of leave-behind naloxone and field-based buprenorphine induction programs. Support the Program Director in advancing PACC's initiatives through conferences, presentations, stakeholder engagement, and conventions. Travel to onboard, train, and support newly enrolled first responder agencies across Colorado (approximately 15% travel). Deliver training and technical assistance to EMS, fire, law enforcement, and other first responder agencies on naloxone distribution, harm reduction, and stigma reduction. Develop and distribute program reports and other agency-facing resources. Provide administrative assistance to participating agencies. Assist with maintaining PACC's Learning Management System. Support general Naloxone Project office functions. Coordinate shipping of naloxone and materials to partner sites. Manage inventory of naloxone and supplies. Assist with advancing public awareness of The Naloxone Project on social and traditional media platforms.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in prehospital medicine, EMS, fire service, law enforcement, co-response, healthcare, or a related field. Associate degree in emergency management, social work, nursing, education, public health, human services, health sciences, anthropology, psychology, sociology, or a related medical field.

Essential Skills & Desired Work Experience: Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team. Good time management and organizational skills. Strong writing and educational presentation skills. Working knowledge of social media platforms and communications Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace. Ability to self-start and manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

Additional Requirements: Valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and current auto insurance. Willingness to travel throughout Colorado (approximately 15% travel).

Location: Must reside in Colorado; Denver metro area preferred.

Job Salary: The current salary range is $45,000 to $60,000 per year.
