Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Headland, AL

Pay: $24.00+/hour, based on experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:30 PM (unpaid lunch)

Seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and improve processing equipment in a fast-paced agricultural manufacturing environment. Candidates must be available for overtime, after-hours call-ins, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment failures
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
Maintain conveyors, gearboxes, power transmission systems, and related processing equipment
Read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
Document maintenance activities and equipment modifications
Recommend improvements to increase equipment reliability and performance
Follow all safety and EHS requirements

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Experience with conveyors, hydraulics, rigging, welding, cutting, grinding, and equipment alignment
Experience in a manufacturing or high-speed production environmen
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

Lift up to 50 lbs.
Climb stairs and ladders
Work in confined spaces and at heights
Stand, bend, kneel, and work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions
