Job Description

Job Summary:
Coordinate and support pharmaceutical operations in a high-volume clinic environment. Assist pharmacists with preparing, dispensing, and managing medications, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill, compound, and dispense physician prescriptions.
• Prepare hazardous drugs and chemotherapy compounds following safety standards.
• Manage and organize medication inventory, including narcotics and oncology pharmaceuticals.
• Perform technical tasks related to packaging, labeling, and delivering pharmaceuticals.
• Collaborate with pharmacists to optimize medication distribution and patient care services.
• Maintain compliance with state registration requirements and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold current Pharmacy Technician registration in Georgia.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, specifically with hazardous drugs and chemotherapy compounding.
• Demonstrate proficiency in multiple pharmacy functions, including oncology, inventory management, and sterile compounding.
• Exhibit strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume clinic environment.
• Effective communication skills with diverse patient populations.
