Senior HR Generalist

The Senior HR Generalist serves as a key partner to leaders, managers, and employees by providing both strategic and day-to-day human resources support. This role is responsible for employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, compliance, compensation, benefits administration, employee development, and engagement initiatives. The Senior HR Generalist helps foster a positive workplace culture while ensuring HR policies and practices align with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements. Job Title: Senior HR Generalist Location: Tulsa, OK Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $85K - $90K Work Model: Onsite – onsite Senior HR Generalist Position Summary Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations Serve as a primary HR resource for employee relations matters, conducting investigations and helping resolve workplace concerns. Advise managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, policy interpretation, and corrective action processes. Promote a positive workplace culture that encourages accountability, collaboration, engagement, and respect. Ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures, and practices across all departments. Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and support recruiting efforts. Coordinate and participate in candidate screening, interviewing, and selection processes. Support onboarding programs and ensure successful integration of new employees. Assist with workforce planning and employee retention initiatives. Performance Management and Employee Development Guide managers and employees through performance management processes, including goal setting, coaching, evaluations, and development planning. Coordinate training and development programs to support employee growth and leadership development. Identify opportunities to improve employee skills, engagement, and overall organizational effectiveness. Compensation and Benefits Assist with compensation administration, including salary benchmarking, pay reviews, and market analysis. Support benefit programs by responding to employee inquiries and assisting with enrollment and administrative processes. Partner with leadership to ensure compensation practices remain competitive and equitable. Compliance and HR Administration Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Support administration of leave programs, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation claims, and related employee matters. Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and reporting. Assist with HR audits, compliance initiatives, and policy updates. Employee Engagement and Culture Support programs designed to enhance employee engagement, retention, and workplace satisfaction. Coordinate employee feedback initiatives, surveys, recognition programs, and related action planning efforts. Assist in fostering a culture aligned with company values and organizational goals. HR Operations and Support Maintain HRIS data and generate reports to support business and HR decision-making. Analyze workforce trends and provide recommendations for process improvements and workforce planning. Collaborate with leadership on HR initiatives and organizational development efforts. Perform other duties as assigned. QualificationsEducation Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred. Experience Five (5) or more years of progressive Human Resources experience required. Prior experience in an HR Generalist, Senior HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or similar role preferred. Experience supporting multiple areas of Human Resources, including employee relations, recruiting, performance management, and compliance. Experience in manufacturing, industrial, construction, professional services, or other fast-paced environments is a plus. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Experience managing employee relations matters, investigations, and conflict resolution. Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO, workers' compensation, and related employment regulations. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Proficiency with HRIS platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and reporting tools. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment. Preferred Certifications SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred but not required.
