Job DescriptionUW Medicine Enterprise Revenue Cycle has an outstanding opportunity for an ERC Program Financial AnalystWORK SCHEDULE100% FTEWeekdays100% RemotePOSITION HIGHLIGHTSThe ERC Program Financial Analyst position offers the opportunity to partner with ERC leaders, cross functional teams, and external agenciesPosition is responsible for working on issue resolution and projects requiring a broad knowledge of all aspects of Revenue Cycle workflows, and assigned applications and tools, in addition they must be able to understand the impact to other systems that interact within the workflowPRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIESFocus on both federal and state regulatory requirements to manage key healthcare initiatives such as Financial Assistance, BBPA/NSA, Health Benefit Exchange, Price Transparency, Medicaid/Apple Health, and other applicable regulatory requirementsCoordinate development and maintenance of regulatory materials including FAQs, tip sheets, change notices, workflows, signage, patient/staff materials, and communicationsMaintain regulatory tracking, project plans, deadlines, documentation, decisions, and action itemsLead high-impact, cross functional initiatives with varying deliverables to select vendor(s) from development to contracting to implementationManage ERC contract calendars, renewal dates, deliverables, milestones, performance requirements, and supporting documentationManage cross-functional Revenue Cycle projects, operational improvements, and assigned workstreams under the direction of the DirectorLead development, revision, review, and maintenance of ERC policies, procedures, workflows, job aids, and related documentationConduct research and operational analysis to support recommendations and project decisionsREQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, Health Information Management, or a related fieldAt least four (5) years in Revenue Cycle positions as an analyst or lead or other similar position where analysis and problem-solving skills have been demonstratedAn extensive knowledge and understanding of regulatory, policies and vendorsProficient in the use of applications, including but not limited to: MS Software – Office Suite with emphasis in Excel, Word, Visio, Project, Access, and PowerPoint plus Adobe ProEquivalent experience may substitute for degree requirementABOUT UW MEDICINE – WHERE YOUR IMPACT GOES FURTHERUW Medicine is Washington’s only health system that includes a top-rated medical school and an internationally recognized research center.
