Mechanical Project Manager ConstructionLocation: Charlotte, NC Pay: $100-140k base (Bonus structure available as well) Hiring immediately for full-time work.Role and Responsibilities:Determine mechanical construction needs, constraints, and responsibilities to meet all the customer's facilities requirements.Approve invoices.Provide complete closeout documentation and warranty coverage.Supervision of the actual physical construction of the project in strict accordance with the contract documents, local & national building codes, and project specific compliance requirementsWork with Project Manager to document and maintain standard reports for delays, work-arounds, shutdowns and tie-ins, etc.Resolution of personal disputes on jobsite; Ability to lead and inspireMaintain satisfactory relationships with customers, subcontractors, vendors etc.; and the ability to work in a team environment with Project Managers, Superintendents, field labor, etc.Quality assurance/Control for all MSS related scope, schedule.Attend ALL inspections on projects assigned.Manage, enforce and provide feedback on MSS tool tracking program as it applies to assigned projects and personnel.Qualifications and Requirements:Demonstrate proficiency and understanding of the management of site logistics and contract operations on tight urban sites.Must be competent in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.Must have knowledge of all phases of construction. Must have experience and proficiency in all divisions of work, methods, materials, scheduling, and cost control of project scope.Strong technical and communication skills are critical.Minimum of 5 years of experience with construction experience as a Lead Superintendent.A thorough understanding of (HVAC, Ducting, Hydronic piping & Plumbing) and the ability to maintain current, complete set of project documents, blueprints, revisions, specifications and related items.Ability to multitask and juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Experience in accessing, reading, and complete the installation of system from a BIM coordinated project.Must be able to work with variety of tools.Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.Must have OSHA 30 certification.Key Requirements:Bachelor's DegreeOR 10+ years of experience in a combination of commercial/industrial construction as a Superintendent or Forman.Regular and supervisory probation period required, if applicable.Random drug testing is required.Appointment to this position may require a background investigation.A clean driving record is required.Charlotte, NC based50% travel required.Must successfully pass a background check.
