Veterinary Technician - Dermatology

Description Dermatology for Animals is looking for full-time Veterinary Technicians to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Rockville, MD. About You You'll play a vital role in supporting patient care by providing comprehensive assistance throughout each visit. This impactful work includes hands-on support with dermatology treatments and laboratory testing, as well as essential services such as patient intake, monitoring and discharge. Your Experience & Skills Minimum 1 year of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care) CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) preferred Superior/advanced technical skills Has strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care) Possesses a positive work attitude Self-motivated Excellent communication and organization skills You'll Grow With Us Here, you can grow your career as best fits you through access to comprehensive learning and skillset programs. Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $24 - $26 / hour.
