Primary Responsibilities of our Registered Veterinary Technician As an overnight Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional, dedicated care to our post-operative patients during their immediate recovery phase. Your responsibilities will include: Providing high-quality medical and post-operative nursing care. Monitoring and documenting patient vitals and critical neurological conditions overnight. Venipuncture and IV catheter placement. Drug calculations and medication administration (including IV). Plus exciting cross‑training opportunities with our advanced imaging department (including MRI scans) to fully utilize your skill set! Candidate Requirements as a Registered Veterinary Technician Active Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license (or currently enrolled in an accredited RVT/LVT program). At least 2 years of experience as an RVT (or 2 years as a Veterinary Assistant). Eager to learn, adapt, and work independently during overnight hours. A strong foundation in veterinary technical skills and a great attitude. Bonus Points: Experience with EzyVet!
