About the Position

# Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Nurse (PCU) – Texas**Start Date:** September 7, 2026 **Location:** Arlington, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM; three 12-hour shifts per week; 36-40 guaranteed hours weekly; weekend and call requirements to be discussed**Highlights:**

• 18-bed Progressive Care Unit specializing in Renal PCU services
• 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio in a collaborative progressive care environment
• 13-week assignment with potential for extension
• Meditech electronic documentation system
• Floating to other units as needed based on hospital staffing requirements
• Patient-centered care model including hourly safety rounding and bedside shift reporting

**Requirements:**

• Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing
• Active RN license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
• Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience required
• Experience with renal patient populations strongly preferred
