Description:
We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and maintaining relationships with clients in need of LTL freight solutions. This position is integral to expanding MVE’s market share and ensuring customer satisfaction, and you will work closely with the operations and account management teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and virtual meetings.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of retention and satisfaction.
• Understand client needs and provide tailored LTL freight solutions to optimize their supply chain.
• Negotiate pricing and service agreements to maximize profitability while maintaining competitiveness in the market.
• Collaborate with operations and account management teams to ensure seamless execution of services.
• Utilize CRM tools to track and manage sales activities, pipeline development, and customer interactions.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to maintain a strategic sales advantage.
• Meet and exceed sales targets, demonstrating a results-driven approach to business development.
Skills & Attributes
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to present complex solutions clearly and effectively.
• Excellent customer relationship management skills with a consultative sales approach.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple accounts and priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a track record of exceeding sales quotas.
Requirements:• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Sales, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 3-5 years of inside sales experience in the transportation, logistics, or freight industry, with a strong emphasis on LTL services.
