Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
At Morristown Post Acute Rehabilitation & Nursing, we are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our exceptional team. As a PTA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality rehabilitation services to our residents. Responsibilities:
- Assist Physical Therapists in the evaluation, planning, and implementation of individualized therapy programs for residents
- Conduct therapy sessions, including but not limited to: physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy
- Implement treatment plans to improve resident outcomes, including but not limited to: mobility, strength, balance, and cognitive function
- Monitor resident progress, reporting to the Physical Therapist and making recommendations for modifications to treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident treatment and progress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and excellent patient outcomes
- Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will have the opportunity to work closely with leading area physicians to provide cutting-edge post-acute care and rehabilitation services
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Studies
- Current PTA certification in the State of New Jersey
- 1+ years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and excellent customer service
