Incident Response Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Incident Response Specialist to join our Cybersecurity Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for detecting, investigating, responding to, and recovering from cybersecurity incidents affecting enterprise systems and networks. The Incident Response Specialist will monitor security alerts, analyze malware, investigate security breaches, perform digital forensic investigations, and coordinate incident response activities across multiple technical teams. The successful candidate will play a critical role in minimizing security risks, protecting sensitive business information, and strengthening the organization’s overall security posture. You will collaborate with Security Operations Center (SOC) analysts, threat intelligence teams, cloud engineers, IT operations, and executive leadership to develop response strategies, improve incident handling procedures, and implement proactive security measures. Responsibilities Monitor and investigate security incidents. Perform malware and threat analysis. Respond to ransomware and phishing attacks. Coordinate incident containment and recovery activities. Analyze security logs and SIEM alerts. Improve security monitoring and detection capabilities. Conduct post-incident reviews and root cause analysis. Support vulnerability management and threat hunting initiatives. Education Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or related field.
