Sr. Product Owner

The Sr Product Owner plays a critical role in ensuring that a product or feature is developed with a focus on delivering value to the customer and the business. They act as a voice for the customer and are responsible for making key product‑related decisions throughout the development process, including identifying opportunities to incorporate emerging technologies, such as AI‑enabled capabilities, where they can improve user experience, workflow efficiency, and business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Product Vision & Stakeholder Alignment: Translate future vision and requirements into clear epics and stories, ensuring all team members understand and align with product goals, incorporating emerging technologies when appropriate. Stakeholder Communication: Primary contact between development team and stakeholders, communicating progress, changes, and updates regularly. Team Enabler: Act as central reference and information source for Agile Development Teams, guiding system/product functionality decisions. Entrepreneurial Spirit: Demonstrated track record of delivering results in fast‑moving, demanding environments. Backlog Ownership & Prioritization – Create and maintain the product backlog, prioritizing features, user stories, and tasks based on business value, customer needs, market trends, and strategic opportunities. Backlog Management – Continuously groom and refine the backlog based on feedback, changing priorities, and new insights. Feedback Integration – Gather and incorporate stakeholder and end‑user feedback, adjusting backlog accordingly. Requirements & Customer Experience (UX) – Break down high‑level requirements into detailed, implementable user stories; define acceptance criteria; partner with UX to ensure backlog items have wireframes and UI designs ready for sprint planning. Planning, Delivery & Risk – Participate in sprint planning, release planning, ensure quality standards through acceptance or rejection of work, and manage delivery risks, collaborating with release managers and leadership. Business Outcomes & Data – Assist in developing and presenting business cases, define KPIs and measures to track impact and inform decisions. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field. 4–7 years of relevant work experience. Experience with Product and Development tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira or similar. Healthcare and technical expertise highly preferred, including experience with data, API integrations, and interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, evaluate outcomes, and assess opportunities related to emerging technologies including AI‑enabled capabilities when applicable. Leadership and decision‑making skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Understanding of industry, market trends and customer needs. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Strong collaboration skills, able to work effectively across Engineering, UI/UX, Product Management, leadership and internal & external stakeholders. Travel up to 30%. Benefits Eligible for bonus as part of total compensation package. Salary range: 109,700.00 – 183,200.00 local currency.
