Experience: Minimum of 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates. Must have continuing experience of performing at least 200 mammograms in the past 24 months.
License: Active state license required at the time of submission.
Certifications: Certification in Mammography with ARRT, AHA BLS.
Must-Have: Continuing education of 24 credit hours per biennium, with 15 of those credit hours in mammography. 8 hours of training in digital mammography. 8 hours of training in tomography. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
Description:
The Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing mammographic procedures.
Candidates must possess a current certification in Mammography with ARRT.
An active state license is required.
AHA BLS certification is mandatory.
Candidates must have hands-on experience performing at least 200 mammograms within the last 24 months.
Continuing education requirements include 24 credit hours per biennium, with 15 hours focused on mammography.
Completion of 8 hours of training in digital mammography is necessary.
8 hours of training in tomography is also required.
Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to quality care in breast imaging.
