Job Title Registered Nurse – LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) Location Greensboro, NC | Long-Term Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13 Weeks | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | Rotating Schedule Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in planning and delivering safe, high-quality patient care Manage ventilator and tracheostomy patients, monitor central lines, and provide wound care as needed Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and participate in on-call rotation, including one weekend per month Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Skilled RN / LTAC experience Active NC RN license or multi-state compact RN license required ACLS and BLS certifications required (must be through the American Heart Association) Demonstrated experience with ventilator and tracheostomy management Knowledge of central line care and management Preferred Experience / Skills Wound care experience strongly preferred Prior travel nursing experience Telemetry experience in an LTAC or similar acute care setting Why Join Us Opportunity to work in a specialized Long-Term Acute Care environment with a dynamic, rotating schedule 13-week contract with a projected start date providing ample time to plan your next travel assignment Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 775519.
