CVOR Surgical Technologist

Location: Columbia, SC

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced CVOR Surgical Technologist to support a cardiovascular operating room team. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiovascular and vascular surgical procedures and be comfortable performing both scrub and circulating duties in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Requirements:

NBSTSA Certification required
BLS Certification required
Minimum 1 year of CVOR or Surgical Technologist experience
Experience scrubbing and circulating required

Schedule:

4x10 Day Shifts
On-call responsibilities required and discussed during the interview process

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments for cardiovascular procedures
Scrub and circulate during cardiovascular and vascular surgeries
Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention standards
Anticipate surgeon and procedural needs throughout cases
Ensure accurate instrument, sponge, and supply counts
Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia staff to optimize patient outcomes
