Your Responsibilities

• Assess patients across various demographics-pediatric, adult, and geriatric-using established protocols and real-time observations.
• Create individualized therapy plans that cater to immediate and ongoing communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
• Deliver focused speech therapy sessions addressing language, fluency, voice, and swallowing challenges.
• Partner with a dynamic team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, medical staff, and family members to design integrated care approaches.
• Educate patients and their families to encourage progress beyond the therapy room.
• Contribute to occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless care throughout the therapeutic journey.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards.
• Engage in lifelong learning through continuing education opportunities and collaborative discussions within your field.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not attaining ASHA certification yet.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment.
