What You'll Do
As a Caregiver in Yuma, you provide dependable, client-centered support to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, helping promote safety, dignity, and greater independence during weekend shifts. You'll follow individualized plans, assist with activities of daily living, support skill-building and community participation, document services clearly, and respond calmly to changing needs using sound problem-solving and crisis management. Required qualifications/skills: - Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities - CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) - Article 9 training (or willingness to obtain) - Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance - Introduction to Developmental Disabilities certificate - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation - Strong communication/interpersonal skills and an empathetic approach
