Cannabis Director of Retail Operations

Compensation: $115,000 - $125,000 Base Salary + KPI-Based Bonus Opportunity ($150,000+ OTE) Position Overview Our client, a rapidly growing vertically integrated, multi-state cannabis operator, is seeking a Director of Retail Operations to lead retail performance across multiple dispensary locations. This newly created leadership role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, operational excellence, team development, and delivering a consistent best-in-class customer experience across the organization. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on, data‑driven multi‑unit retail leader with a proven track record of improving performance, developing strong teams, and managing operations in a fast‑paced environment. This role will play a key part in supporting continued expansion and scaling retail operations across multiple markets. Responsibilities Lead and oversee retail operations across multiple dispensary locations and markets Manage, coach, and develop Store Managers and retail leadership teams Drive revenue growth, profitability, and operational performance through KPI management and accountability Monitor key business metrics including sales, labor, payroll, inventory, and customer experience Conduct regular store visits, business reviews, and operational assessments to identify opportunities for improvement Develop and implement strategies to improve store performance, team execution, and customer experience Partner with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Inventory, Finance, and Compliance to align business objectives Support new store openings, expansion initiatives, and continued operational growth Ensure consistent execution of operational standards, compliance requirements, and company procedures Qualifications 7+ years of progressive multi‑unit retail leadership experience (Cannabis retail leadership highly preferred) Proven experience managing multiple locations and leading Store Managers or General Managers Strong track record of driving revenue, profitability, and operational improvements Experience managing KPIs, P&L, labor, payroll, and inventory performance Strong leadership presence with the ability to develop teams and drive accountability Data‑driven approach with strong analytical and decision‑making skills Cannabis retail experience strongly preferred; experience in other regulated or high‑volume retail environments will be considered Willingness to travel up to 50% to support multi‑state operations Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain required state cannabis licensing Compensation $125,000 base salary (based on experience) KPI‑based bonus opportunity up to $25,000+ Opportunity to lead retail operations for a rapidly growing multi‑state cannabis organization #J-18808-Ljbffr The United Green
