Benefits: Company parties Flexible schedule Opportunity for advancement Training & development Mindlink is seeking a dedicated and culturally responsive Somali Translator to support written translation projects across a variety of subject areas. We work with Educational/Local Gov/Other Non-Profit Clients based in Washington/Oregon. US-based candidates are a client requirement; translators based in Washington and Oregon states are strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Provide accurate and culturally appropriate translations while meeting client deadlines. Follow client-specific style guides, glossaries, and terminology. Communicate clearly with the Mindlink team regarding availability, questions, or clarifications. Revise translations based on feedback when required. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics. Qualifications Native-level fluency in Somali. Minimum 3 years of professional translation experience. Excellent time management and attention to detail Ability to quickly learn and use new softwares; experience with CAT tools strongly preferred. Ability to follow instructions, style guides, and quality standards. Professional Development Access to Mindlink’s Learning Center for ongoing training. Participation in feedback cycles using tools like LinguistLink. Opportunities for certification advancement and skill development.
