Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias

Comfort with cardiac drips including Cardizem, Dopamine, dobutamine, milrinone, amiodarone, Lasix, and heparin

Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call-offs or additional RTO may lead to cancellation and do-not-reassign. The unit accepts first-time travelers. Local candidates are also accepted. Ratios are 1:5-6. Flexible contract lengths of 36 or 48 hours can be supported. Float requirements are applicable to other telemetry units. Weekend requirements include working 4 weekend days within a 6-week period. Patients may present with various diagnoses including chest pain, arrhythmias, pacemaker or defibrillator issues. The role involves working alongside a heart failure navigator. Unit systems include electronic medical record and medication management systems. Candidates must pass EKG testing prior to starting. A teamwork approach is essential in all interactions with patients and staff. All team members must adhere to the call-off policy, which is strictly enforced. Candidates must be willing to float as needed. Must be open to completing additional modules and training as required. References can be pending at submission.
