About the Role

The Company is seeking a Deputy Chief Medical Officer to serve as a strategic clinical leader within its federal health portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating clinical, technical, and policy expertise into technology-enabled solutions that drive measurable outcomes. This role requires a deep understanding of federal health organizational structures, priorities, and challenges, as well as a commitment to using technology, process, and policy to improve patient care and outcomes. The Deputy CMO will also be involved in business development, thought leadership, and talent development, and must be adept at engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, from clinicians to senior government officials. Applicants for the Deputy Chief Medical Officer position at the company must have a medical degree (MD/DO) or RN degree with a current, active license, and a minimum of 6 years of clinical practice experience. Federal healthcare experience, particularly within the Military Health System and/or Veterans Affairs, is strongly preferred. The role demands a candidate with a proven track record in leveraging technology for healthcare solutions, as well as experience in business development, strategic initiatives, and a strong executive presence. The ideal candidate will have a diverse skill set that includes leadership, communication, and the ability to manage ambiguity in complex environments. Preferred qualifications include experience with federal EHR platforms, clinical informatics, and a background in operational or deployed medicine.
