Job Requirements

• Active Physician Assistant licensure and eligibility to practice in Pennsylvania
• Minimum 2 years of urgent care experience, or at least 1 year of emergency medicine experience
• Comfort treating patients of all ages, including pediatrics 6 months and older
• Experience with orthopedic procedures, including splinting
• Strong wound care skills, including suturing and incision & drainage
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willingness to evaluate and manage common urgent care complaints
• Ability to commute from within a 2-3 hour radius

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with common urgent care conditions such as cold/flu symptoms, rashes, abrasions, lacerations, sprains, and minor burns
• Perform procedures including suturing, wound care, incision & drainage, splinting, X-rays, EKGs, blood draws, and IV placement as appropriate
• Deliver efficient, high-quality care in a high-volume urgent care environment
• Independently assess patients and determine when escalation to the emergency department is needed
• Provide compassionate care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Support a team-focused environment while maintaining strong clinical autonomy
