School Cafeteria Food Service Manager Job Summary: This position requires the individual to manage every aspect of the cafeteria within the school. The manager must ensure compliance with health and safety standards. The manager is responsible for preparing and serving food items to students and school personnel, as well as maintaining food service facilities in a safe and sanitary condition. The manager must provide direction and manage all food service employees, promoting safe work practices and procedures. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Associates degree preferred. Prior experience in food service is preferred. Working Conditions: This position requires the individual to work within a school cafeteria. Must be able to work with others, including students, teachers, food service workers, and administrators. The role involves standing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and some lifting.
