Everett, WA | Acute Care – Women and Children's Pavilion (Labor and Delivery / Postpartum / Antepartum)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-risk perinatal unit including labor and delivery, antepartum, and postpartum settings
• Maintain staffing ratios of 1:1 in labor, 1:2–3 in antepartum, and 1:3 couplets in postpartum with CNA support
• Participate in triage coverage alongside a team of skilled RNs per shift
• Float to Postpartum as needed; travelers may also be expected to float to nearby sister facilities
• Document patient care using EPIC electronic health records
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NRP , and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or Relias Fetal Monitoring
• Sterile Vaginal Exam (SVE) competency is a hard requirement
• Weekends required; candidates must submit all requested time off at the time of submittal
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a facility performing 200 or more deliveries per month
• Candidates with experience in facilities handling 100–200 deliveries will be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Familiarity with high-risk perinatal care environments including Level III units
• Prior experience working in a facility with OR, PACU, and triage support structures
