Loader Operator

We are seeking an experienced Loader Operator to work on our construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently to ensure that work is completed on schedule and within budget. As a key member of our team, the Loader Operator will work closely with other crew members and subcontractors to ensure that projects are completed to the highest level of quality. Responsibilities Operate loaders to move materials, earth, and other heavy objects Ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest level of quality Communicate regularly with other crew members and subcontractors to ensure that work is completed on schedule and within budget Develop and maintain relationships with crew members and subcontractors to ensure that they are aware of project schedules and deadlines Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and that safety procedures are followed at all times Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction projects Ability to work in tight areas Ability to Mult-task Work with Pipe/Other Crews Other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in heavy equipment operation preferred 3+ years of experience operating heavy equipment, with experience in a construction setting preferred Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze project data and identify trends and opportunities for improvement Experience with government contracts and compliance is a plus Must have reliable transportation Must have the ability to work extended hours as required by the workload May include some weekend and evening work, depending on project Working outdoors in AZ climate We offer an excellent work environment including competitive wages subsidized health insurance paid time off paid sick leave paid holidays 401k plan Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) voluntary dental and supplemental benefits Achen-Gardner Construction, LLC is 100% employee owned.
