We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician to support our Urbana, OH location. Duties Perform diagnostic work on equipment to verify needed repairs per estimate, notifying the service manager if initial diagnosis is inaccurate. Apply knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in repairing CCE/Light Construction Equipment. Operate equipment used in service shops (diagnostic equipment, forklifts, hydraulic lifts, etc.). Complete assigned work according to estimates and schedules, communicating any issues that may cause deviations. Keep accurate time records for work performed. Recommend additional service work to maximize machine productivity, reduce downtime, and add value for customers. Provide professional advice to customers when required. Ensure requested parts are billed and unused parts are returned promptly. Submit work order details to the Service Manager immediately after completing each segment. Help maintain company assets as required. Attend training and KEI events as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications Technical degree in Agricultural or Construction Mechanics preferred but not required. 2-4 years of relevant technician experience. Basic knowledge of product lines, electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. Ability to use our computer system (IntelliDealer). Ability to operate vehicles and equipment safely. Clean driving record required. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
