Jaxon is looking for a Technical Writer I to work at our headquarters in Colorado Springs. Jaxon is the leading full-service provider of High-Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP) services worldwide, delivering world-class engineering, testing, construction, and sustainment services. Salary: $55,000 - 58,000 experience dependent.

Schedule: Full-time

Travel Requirement: Currently no expectation to travel, but there may be opportunities to do so

Security Clearance Requirement: Must be able to provide or obtain a Secret Clearance

Requirements

Primary Duties:

• Develop content for multiple types of documents by translating technical information and data into readable content for a wide-ranging audience
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to generate content for various types of documents, including technical work plans, reports, and white papers
• Collaborate with a Technical Editor to structure documents and make revisions during the document review process
• Build documents based on governing style guides, contract requirements, and company policies and procedures
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

Required Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 0-1 year of experience in writing or related field
• Experience with Microsoft products is a requirement
• Must be a US citizen with the ability to acquire a DOD Secret clearance or higher
