We also offer systematic alpha and alternative strategies to complement clients' core holdings.This role is part of Parametric's hybrid working model, which includes working in the office 3 days a week and choosing to work remotely or in the office the remaining days of the week.ABOUT THE TEAMOversight Management is the team responsible for verifying all client directed activity, focused on reviewing all activities before trading begins each day, providing management reporting and verifying that the external requests from Financial Advisors and Custodians are being completed fully and correctly before sending to portfolio managers.ABOUT THE ROLEThe Operations Associate provides oversight management to the Client Service, Onboarding and Transaction Activity Teams while partnering with Portfolio Managers to enable accounts for trading. Technical and Professional skills are honed in a dynamic work environment, with opportunities to expand responsibilities and gain visibility.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESPerform verification checks on team's data entries to ensure accurate processing of information prior to daily trading deadlinesNew accountsChanges to existing accountsClosed accountsCash activitiesEnsure all account documentation is received and properly submitted for archivingPrepare daily risk and control reports to ensure all activities are processed timelyCreate and maintain weekly quality metrics to help improve long term performanceUpdate account parameters in proprietary systemProcess bulk change requests from a multitude of teams: finance, sales, billing and managementContribute to Oversight Management team projects & initiativesAbility to take initiative on a variety of projects and utilize problem solving skills to complete them effectively and efficiently.Partner with the Ops supervisor in work allocation and/or highlight must – go/escalated accountsJOB REQUIREMENTSBachelor's (4yr) degree w/ concentration in Finance, Economics or related area of study.4+ years of work experience in Financial Services, wealth/investment management preferrableStrong Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.Professional tact with excellent written and verbal skills.Strong problem solving and analytical skills.Meticulous attention to detail and highly process oriented.Ability to multi-task under tight deadlines.Ability to work in tightly knit team environmentStrong interest in starting a career in the investment management industryParametric believes each member of our organization makes a significant contribution to our success. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
