Elderwood is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nursing Supervisor (RN) to help lead clinical operations and support our nursing teams within our skilled nursing and rehabilitation community. This is an important leadership role responsible for overseeing nursing care delivery during the assigned shift, supporting nursing staff across units, responding to clinical and operational needs, and helping ensure exceptional resident care and service excellence. Benefits Strong leadership and clinical support Team-oriented environment Opportunity to lead and mentor nursing staff Meaningful work serving geriatric and rehabilitation populations Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits Mission-driven organization focused on People Caring for People EARN 10% more with our Pay in Lieu of Benefits Program (higher base pay) Shift Differentials for evenings, nights & weekends Tuition Reimbursement Programs Employee Referral Bonus - UP TO $2,000 401K with Employer Matching PTO & Holiday Package Full Suite of Health Benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision Position Overview This role plays a critical part in maintaining clinical excellence, supporting staff performance, and ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate, high-quality care.As Nursing Supervisor, you will: Oversee nursing operations during your assigned shift Support and supervise nursing staff across the facility Serve as a clinical resource and leader for nursing teams Help ensure quality resident care and regulatory compliance Assist with staffing coordination, problem-solving, and resident care oversight Partner closely with Unit Managers, DON leadership, providers, and interdisciplinary teams The Right Candidate Will Bring Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills Calm, confident leadership presence Excellent communication and team-building abilities Compassionate and resident-centered approach Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced healthcare environment Commitment to quality care and staff support Responsibilities Supervise nursing care services and nursing personnel across assigned units Conduct rounds and provide clinical support and guidance to staff Monitor resident conditions and ensure timely communication of changes Assist with admissions, evaluations, care planning, and resident oversight Support safe medication administration and treatment delivery Assist with staffing coordination and assignment adjustments Provide coaching, feedback, and support to nursing staff Ensure documentation, workflows, and assignments are completed appropriately Participate in shift-to-shift communication and operational updates Promote a collaborative, respectful, team-focused environment Help maintain compliance with facility policies, CMS standards, and nursing regulations Support infection prevention and facility safety initiatives Assist with incident response, emergency procedures, and survey readiness Participate in QAPI and performance improvement efforts Qualifications Possession of a state license in applicable state you are performing work and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience and at least one (1) year of experience in a nursing leadership role Interest or experience in geriatrics Current BLS/CPR Experience with dementia population desirable This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors.
