Customer Service Representative

Transportation Coordinator

This role supports daily transportation operations by coordinating freight movement, scheduling deliveries, tracing loads and communicating with drivers and customers to ensure on-time performance and issue resolution. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized and comfortable making real-time decisions in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and assign loads to ensure on-time pick-up and delivery
• Enter and update customer orders in the system with accuracy
• Trace and monitor shipments to prevent delays
• Communicate with drivers regarding dispatch instructions and issues
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding delays, accessorials and scheduling
• Prepare tracking and performance reports
• Monitor equipment usage and coordinate repairs as needed
• Collaborate with internal teams (Dispatch, Revenue, Operations) to resolve issues and maintain customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

• Intermodal transportation or import/export experience preferred
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proficient with computer systems and data entry
• Ability to multi-task and work independently
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with flexible hours as needed

• Compensation: $21-$25 per hour
