Role Description The Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Round Rock, TX, responsible for overseeing daily store operations and leading the team to achieve sales and service goals. This role manages staff scheduling, training, and performance, ensuring team members deliver a consistently high level of customer service and product knowledge. The Store Manager monitors inventory, merchandising standards, and visual displays to maintain an appealing and organized store environment. In addition, this position ensures adherence to retail loss prevention procedures, cash handling policies, and company guidelines. The Store Manager also analyzes store performance metrics, implements local sales initiatives, and fosters a positive, inclusive workplace that reflects Shoe Palace’s values. Qualifications Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences. Effective Communication skills for coaching team members, resolving issues, and collaborating with leadership. Experience in Store Management, including supervising staff, driving sales, and managing day-to-day retail operations. Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, with the ability to enforce policies and promote a secure store environment. Previous retail leadership experience, preferably in footwear, apparel, or similar consumer products. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by store needs. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and results-oriented mindset.
