IT Help Desk Technician

Salary: $60,000 - 72,800 per year Requirements:

• We require 3+ years of experience in a hands-on IT support role with regular client-facing or field service responsibilities.
• We require strong desktop support skills across Windows 11; macOS experience is a plus.
• We require working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Exchange Online administration.
• We require familiarity with core networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, switching, and wireless.
• We require experience using a ticketing or service management system.
• We require a valid drivers license and reliable personal transportation, as the role involves regular travel to client sites.
• We require excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
• We require strong organizational habits, including tracking open items, following through on commitments, and managing time independently in the field.
• CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification is preferred.
• We require 3 years of Windows desktop support experience.
• We require 1 year of Active Directory management experience.
• Santa Fe, NM 87509 is preferred as the work location.

• We serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building trust, communicating clearly, and representing Civic Tech professionally.
• We participate in client onboarding and technology transition projects as needed.
• We deliver remote technical support across client locations, including endpoint hardware, operating systems, peripherals, and connectivity.
• We diagnose and resolve workstation issues in Windows and macOS environments quickly and accurately.
• We manage hardware imaging, provisioning, and lifecycle refresh for end-user devices.
• We maintain detailed ticket notes in the service management platform, documenting each issue and resolution.
• We escalate complex infrastructure issues to the Systems team with precise, thorough documentation.
