Back End Developer- C++/LinuxProject Overview: RAZR is a product offering for portfolio risk analytics in the Omnium platform. The current product is a WPF C# Windows Desktop application with the C++, perl, python, shell script on linux backend server using a proprietary communication layer and in memory database. The candidate will require to understand and support the existing backend and make necessary amends to it to achieve short term goals and also help in designing and developing the new backend.Contractor’s Role: The Back End Developer will be primarily responsible for the work with C++, perl, python, shell script on linux and SQL database (backend) server. Working in a collaborative team environment helping the team to maintain and support the existing legacy backend. Help the team to redesign and develop the new backend- linux and SQL database. Coding, testing, and debugging application programs from functional specifications. Should not mind working under the direction of a team leader, senior technical person or analyst.Experience Level: Senior Level 3 (8+ yrs)Qualifications: At least 8 years of professional development experience with significant exposure to working on complex projects with cross functional teams. Experience in developing and testing enterprise level application in a Linux environment using C++ (including C++14/17), Boost and/or STL libraries. Experience in developing and testing software python, Perl & Shell Script, SQL Database. Experience using event-driven libraries like MS Queue, Kafka. Commitment to excellence and high standards. Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Acute attention to detail.Good to Haves: Experience in developing high performing RESTful web services. Cloud based container architecture on Azure and/or AWS. Preferable some general financial experience. Experience with application containers like Docker.
