Job Title Registered Nurse – ICU (6-Month Contract) Location Des Moines, IA | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend, Every Other Holiday Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting, monitoring and responding to changes in patient condition Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or a compact state license Current BLS certification required ACLS certification required Minimum of 1–2 years of ICU or critical care nursing experience Preferred Experience / Skills Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring Familiarity with critical care documentation systems and electronic health records Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment Why Join Us Opportunity to gain valuable critical care experience through a 6-month contract engagement in a dynamic ICU environment Consistent night shift schedule with a predictable every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday rotation Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 787396.
