Cultivate and maintain an independent network of professional referral sources Conduct comprehensive financial discovery with clients to analyze their credit, income, and asset profiles Take complete, high-quality loan applications and oversee the initial file disclosure process Partner effectively with dedicated processing, underwriting, and closing teams Act as the primary advisor throughout the transaction, keeping borrowers and real estate agents informed Maintain an expert-level understanding of evolving secondary market trends Requirements Minimum of 3-5 years of successful, continuous experience as a producing Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) Active National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) license in good standing Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent industry experience and proven production history are highly valued Deep expertise in structuring standard and non-conforming loan products Exceptional relationship-building skills Comprehensive mastery of mortgage compliance standards, including TRID, RESPA, HMDA Expert-level fluency with Loan Origination Systems (e.g., Encompass) Strong analytical skills to creatively navigate difficult files Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in mortgage loan origination, including structuring standard and non-conforming loan products, while maintaining compliance with mortgage standards such as TRID, RESPA, and HMDA. Proven ability to build relationships and effectively communicate with clients and real estate agents throughout the loan process.
