Job Profile Business Development Coordinator Job Description Summary Expected base salary range: $60,000 - $80,000. Role Overview Supports one or more Vice Presidents of Mortgage Lending (VP) with a variety of tasks to increase their production, efficiency and quality of work. The role is divided into marketing support, business planning and referral partner strategy, and follow‑up and communication with lead sources. Key Responsibilities Idea generation and execution of the VP's business plan, including lead generation ideas and sources. Attend, coordinate, plan and execute monthly events with the Marketing Department for Realtors and other partners to enhance the VP's brand and relationships in the community. Phone and email support: checking messages, returning calls, maintaining organized files and work environment. Maintain calendars, schedule meetings and closings, create calendar invitations, and follow up timely with referral partners. Contact and follow up with Realtors and referral partners; provide marketing materials, Gateless sign‑ups, thank‑you cards, and attend weekly Broker Open Houses on the VP's behalf. Enter referral partners into the company CRM, document and track lead sources, and suggest changes to the business plan. Database management: coordinate monthly correspondence to borrowers who recently closed a loan. Complete tasks in a timely manner, work amicably with others and the POD; other duties as assigned. Skills and Competencies Excellent customer service skills and strong work ethic. Exceptional verbal and written communication and listening skills; ability to communicate with multiple levels of management and influence others. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment requiring strong organizational skills and analytical acumen. Excellent time‑management skills and follow‑through; ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Familiarity with mortgage industry and GRI loan processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, and loan origination system (preferably Encompass). Ability to think strategically to solve problems or challenges with loan files.
