Pharmaceutical Field Sales Representative

Introduction Inizio Engage is building a nationwide team of field based Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives. This is an excellent entry‑level role in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. The team will be dedicated to providing services to Inizio’s client, Pfizer. The main objective of the role is to increase awareness of high‑/at‑risk patient types for COVID‑19. Educate identified targets to ensure customer preparedness on patient identification. Build working relationships with customers through regular calls and ongoing contact as defined in the Field Pharmaceutical Sales Contracted Team Statement of Work (SOW). Ensure close collaboration with customer‑facing colleagues to align goals and coordinate efforts by channel and across field deployments. Understand the customer and market landscape within assigned geographies, prioritize opportunities, and develop/implement action plans to maximize local sales impact. Operate in a team environment that encourages high collaboration and idea sharing. Engage HCPs by probing, answering questions (e.g., drug‑to‑drug interaction management, supply location, high‑risk patient eligibility), and maintaining expert product knowledge. Maintain an in‑depth understanding of disease state, market dynamics, quality programs, health IT, care trends, and other factors influencing customer engagement. Implement strategic call plans to exceed goals for assigned geographies. Analyze customer interactions and data to tailor a unique sales approach for each target office. Collaborate with colleagues to prioritize local opportunities across channels and develop implementation strategies for targeted accounts. Guide retail pharmacy customer interface at the local level to bolster sales efforts. Employ interaction techniques: pre‑call planning, opening, presentation focus, productive questioning, issue identification, and call summary. Customize sales messages to align with known customer needs. Share information on approved support resources. Complete call reporting and inventory recording responsibilities per SOW procedures. Balance study and certification time during off‑territory hours to learn medical, product, and policy information and maintain supplies and records. Prepare for and participate in all required sales conferences and training classes at local or remote locations. Complete all required compliance training within timelines set by the client. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience such as pharmaceutical sales, medical/medical device sales, professional sales or promotional activity, small‑business ownership or entrepreneurial experience, marketing, customer service or account management. Relevant healthcare/scientific roles (e.g., RN, pharmacist, PT, OT). Educator experience (e.g., teacher, principal). Full‑time military experience. Must live within 25 miles of the territory border. Experience in an urgent‑care setting. Willingness to travel. Valid U.S. driver’s license and a driving record compliant with company standards.
