Details Level I Trauma ICU with 14 rooms and 16 beds 1:2 patient ratio Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours (7:00-19:00) Float required to ICU, IMC, and Tele units as needed Utilizes Epic EMR system Requirements Active TX or compact RN license required BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required; PALS and TNCC preferred Minimum 2 years of RN experience preferred Prior travel nursing experience required Epic charting experience required Level I and II trauma experience preferred Teaching and community hospital experience preferred Previous charge nurse experience preferred Skilled in ventilator management, BiPAP/CPAP, IV therapy, and blood product administration Experience with central line care and management Experience with ICP monitoring preferred Skilled in cardiac monitoring and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias Additional Information Provide critical care nursing services to trauma ICU patients Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted Candidates residing in Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris counties are not accepted Travel pairs or groups will not be accepted Former staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation American Traveler Job ID P-747324.
