Job Description As the first infrastructure hire, you will build a production inference platform from the ground up. You’ll design portable, multi‑tenant systems capable of running across managed clouds and air‑gapped environments for Fortune 500 enterprises. This is a foundational role shaping how the next generation of AI learns from human experience and judgment. What You Will Do Own the end‑to‑end production inference platform, optimizing model serving, orchestration, and GPU workloads for performance, latency, and cost. Architect a portable, multi‑tenant infrastructure that maintains rigorous security isolation across managed cloud, customer‑owned hardware, and fully air‑gapped environments. Partner directly with the founders to shape the technical strategy, model lifecycle, and infrastructure roadmap for the next generation of intelligent systems. The ideal candidate Extensive experience operating compute‑intensive distributed systems or production ML infrastructure using tools like Kubernetes, Terraform, and high‑performance orchestration layers. Proven track record of designing multi‑tenant platforms with rigorous isolation boundaries and handling complex data‑processing pipelines at scale. Ability to work with substantial autonomy as an early engineering hire, building robust systems from scratch without established blueprints or existing processes.
