Whether you will spend your day brainstorming in an office cubicle, operating a crane, running manufacturing equipment or troubleshooting technical obstacles, at CMC, you'll get the training and support from your team that you need to excel in your role and reach your full potential.What You'll DoOnce a job is assigned this role accepts full responsibility for management of the forecasting, submittal schedule, delivery schedule, and overall job healthServe as the primary point of contact for CMCReview project proposal/plans/specifications to proactively identify risks, delays, or issues and communicate cost-effective solutionsResolve daily issues that may arise effectively to ensure a timely, safe, and profitable projectWrite and review RFIs for cost impactMaintain project reports for management and customersInteract daily with various departments to ensure contract obligations are metJobsite visits & meetings as neededWhat You'll Need2+ years of experience in project coordination, project management or construction related fieldRebar, concrete, and general contracting experience, highly preferredAbility to read and understand contract documents and drawingsSolid understanding of project costs/cost control with strong financial and business acumenStrong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbalStrong scheduling, planning, organizing, problem solving, time managing, and prioritizing work skillsProficient in MS Office programs – Outlook, Word, ExcelHigh School Diploma or GED requiredBachelor's Degree in one of the following: Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, preferredWe are CMC, a Fortune 500® company at the leading edge of our industry.
