Executive Director

The  Maryland Retired School Personnel Association (MRSPA) , a non-profit 501(c)(4) organization, seeks an  Executive Director . MRSPA is the only association that works exclusively for almost 12,000 certificated and non-certificated school personnel who have retired from a school system in Maryland. 

The Executive Director:

• serves as Chief Executive and Operating Officer
• actively manages the Association and staff
• reports to the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors

Requirements:

• evidence of administrative and leadership experience
• educational experience preferred
• knowledge of legislative process
• ability to work with diverse populations
• excellent communication skills, including ability to use social media and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and Outlook
• ability to understand financial statements and budgets
• Bachelors or Masters Degree
