Forklift Operator

Challenger Lifts, Inc., a division of Snap-on, Inc is looking for a candidate to operate a forklift and respond quickly in a fast paced industrial production environment. This candidate must be able to pull orders, load trucks and stage. We manufacture heavy steel industrial automotive lifts. Must be able to operate in a safe and efficient manner and maintain a safe work environment at all times. Starts out at $20.19/hr and attendance incentive. Hours are 6:30am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks and unload trucks.
• Stage trucks.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner all day, every day in a fast paced industrial production environment.
• Ability to operate Power Industrial Equipment all day, every day.
• Ability to work with heavy steel industrial equipment.
• 6S
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
• Warehouse experience
• Great attendance record
• Must wear steel toe shoes
• Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and effective manner
• Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges and be a self starter
• Able to work overtime as needed and some Saturdays
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work extended hours
• Must be able to work as a team player
• Must align with the Snap-on mission statement
• Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which includes; Hi-Vis Vest, Steel Toe Shoes, Safety Glasses or Prescription Safety Glasses (If Applicable), Gloves (If Applicable), and Ear Plugs (If Applicable).
