Construction Manager

Riverside is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee commercial real estate development projects from pre-construction through completion. What You’ll Do As Construction Manager, you will: Manage day-to-day coordination of assigned construction projects under the direction of the Director of Facility Operations. Coordinate and collaborate with general contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders to address issues and maintain progress. Develop and maintain overall project schedules, budgets, and progress reports. Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to project plans, safety regulations, and quality standards. Monitor project costs and change management process. Work closely with internal teams to align construction activities with development goals. Identify schedule conflicts, construction challenges, and project risks; recommend solutions and elevate significant concerns. Provide leadership and direction to on-site personnel and subcontractors. Qualifications We’re looking for someone who has: Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering - preferred but required. 3–5 years of progressively responsible construction management experience, preferably with a General Contractor. Experience with commercial construction, development projects or tenant improvements. Basic knowledge of construction methods and materials. Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and cost-control abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with construction project management and scheduling software. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on deadlines and commitments. Sound judgment and a practical approach to resolving construction issues.
