About the Role

The Company is in search of a mission-driven Executive Director to lead its organization. The successful candidate will be the chief executive, primary spokesperson, and strategic leader, with a strong focus on fundraising and impact. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include partnering with the Board of Directors to develop and execute the strategic plan, providing updates on organizational performance, and overseeing fundraising efforts. This role demands a leader with full professional fluency in English and Spanish, a proven track record in nonprofit management, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, Board members, and partners. The Executive Director will also be responsible for financial and organizational management, ensuring compliance with governance requirements, and driving operational improvements. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and project management skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Experience in securing major gifts and foundation grants, familiarity with the foundation world, and a high level of integrity are essential. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach, be flexible, and have experience with consensus-building and board relations. While not mandatory, experience in developing nonprofit operations, knowledge of CRM systems, and a background in social media/communications are preferred.
