Industrial Baker

Baker Job Description: We are in search of a trained Baker to help execute our day-to-day operational tasks. This individual should be organized, attentive, and possess an understanding of baking techniques. The selected candidate must have working experience in a high-volume bakery and operating knowledge of related bakery equipment, ingredients, formulations, and quality control procedures. The candidate must have the ability to meet timelines, work in an organized manner, be people-oriented, creative, and lead a team of workers. Responsibilities Include:  Manage daily production to ensure timely and accurate formulated product which meet the production schedule and company requirements.  Designing and improving recipes. Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls.  Ensure employees are properly performing their duties that affect food safety and quality of products produced at the facility. In addition, but not limited to:  Isolate any product which will not meet the established quality standards. Notify quality assurance department of any such problem and record on appropriate document.  Ensure employees are following GMP’s, while minimize waste and maximize production efficiency. Job Qualifications: This position requires a person experienced and/or ability in the following:  4 years of baking experience preferred.  Knowledge of manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery.  Communication and Time Management Skills.  Professional appearance and presentation required.  Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, Allergen Control Program. Job Type: Full-time Work will include early morning and weekend schedules to be able to facilitate production of goods.  This position may require overtime work to meet timelines.

salary: $38,000 - $41,600 per year
