Senior Content Writer

We are seeking a Senior Content Writer with deep experience in cloud communications, UCaaS, CCaaS, Contact Center, AI, and enterprise technology markets. This role will own the development, execution, and optimization of content strategies that drive awareness, organic visibility, demand generation, sales enablement, and customer engagement across CallTower's global portfolio. The ideal candidate can translate complex technologies into compelling business outcomes while serving as a subject matter expert and strategic content leader within the marketing team. Duties Lead Content Strategy: Develop and execute content strategies aligned with marketing goals, product positioning, customer personas, and business objectives. Identify content opportunities that drive awareness, engagement, demand generation, and revenue growth. Thought Leadership Development: Partner with executives, product leaders, engineers, solution architects, and sales teams to develop thought leadership content and industry perspectives. Conduct SME interviews and transform complex technical concepts into compelling, customer-focused content. Content Creation: Write, edit, and proofread high-quality content including blogs, ebooks, whitepapers, case studies, web pages, email campaigns, sales collateral, and social media assets. Ensure all content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with brand standards. Industry-Specific Content: Create technical and non-technical content that communicates the value of CallTower's UCaaS, CCaaS, AI, collaboration, and customer experience solutions. Tailor messaging to diverse audiences, including IT leaders, business decision-makers, and end users. AI Search, AEO, GEO & SEO Optimization: Develop and optimize content for search engines, answer engines, AI-powered search experiences, and generative AI platforms. Apply SEO, AEO, and GEO best practices to improve discoverability, authority, rankings, and organic performance. Content Lifecycle Management: Manage content throughout its lifecycle, including planning, creation, optimization, updates, localization, and retirement. Conduct content audits and repurpose existing assets to maximize reach, consistency, and business impact. Content Performance & Revenue Contribution: Measure content effectiveness through engagement, traffic, lead generation, conversion, and pipeline influence metrics. Use performance insights to refine content strategies and prioritize high-impact marketing initiatives. Mentorship: Mentor and develop junior writers by providing feedback, coaching, and best practices that improve content quality and consistency. Foster a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and creative excellence. Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, sales, customer success, and design teams to align messaging and support business objectives. Ensure brand consistency across campaigns, channels, and customer touchpoints. Performance Analysis: Monitor content trends, competitive activity, and performance metrics using analytics tools. Provide actionable recommendations that improve engagement, visibility, and conversion outcomes. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field or 6+ years of related work experience. 5+ years of professional content writing or content marketing experience in cloud communications, UCaaS, CCaaS, telecommunications, SaaS, AI, or enterprise technology. Proven portfolio demonstrating expertise across technical, strategic, and marketing content formats. Advanced knowledge of SEO, AEO, GEO, and AI-search content optimization principles. Experience using content management systems, marketing platforms, and analytics tools such as WordPress, HubSpot, and Google Analytics. Strong editing, proofreading, research, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Experience developing technical documentation, product marketing content, thought leadership, and sales enablement materials. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling content for business and technical audiences. Preferred Qualifications Experience leading content strategy within a B2B SaaS, UCaaS, CCaaS, or enterprise technology organization. Proven success marketing enterprise technology solutions from Microsoft, Cisco, Zoom, Five9, Genesys, or comparable providers. Familiarity with customer journey mapping, content lifecycle management, and demand generation strategies. Certifications in SEO, content marketing, digital marketing, AI marketing, or related disciplines. Experience interviewing subject matter experts and developing executive thought leadership content. Skills Exceptional long-form and short-form writing, storytelling, and communication abilities. Deep understanding of B2B technology marketing, buyer journeys, and content strategy. Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities. Excellent stakeholder management, collaboration, and interviewing skills. Ability to adapt messaging for executive, technical, partner, customer, and prospect audiences. Experience mentoring writers and contributing to a collaborative content culture.
