The role follows a rotating bi-weekly schedule, consisting of a five-day workweek in one week and a four-day workweek in the following week. Must be available to work overtime or weekends if needed. Pay: $​26.00 an hour. We pay weekly Pacesetter Personnel Services is hiring a ​ Quality Control Lab Technician for our client in the Houston, TX 77055 area. Job Overview: ​This position plays a key role in testing raw material and finished product batches. Key Responsibilities: ​Testing of incoming raw materials per standard operating procedures Testing of finished product per standard operating procedures Inspection of incoming finished goods produced by third parties per standard operating procedures Inspection of the production lines Maintaining QC records and product retention samples Assist QA/QC Manager in product complaint investigations Assist QA/QC Manager on special projects as assigned Assist the Research & Development group on projects as assigned General cleaning and maintenance of the immediate lab area to ensure the safety of laboratory personnel Perform other duties as assigned by the manager Requirements: Must be able to pass a background and drug screen​ing. Must have quality control experience. Must have chemical/lab testing experience. Must have hands on manufacturing industry experience working in a lab. ​Must be reliable, quick learner and have a positive attitude.
