Essential Functions and Responsibilities The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive. Answer telephone and refer calls to appropriate personnel, take messages, and/or answer questions concerning the department/facility. Schedule appointments for the department. Greet or direct patients and visitors; provide directions and/or answer questions. Gather information from patients and other areas to complete necessary forms for the department such as registration and insurance verification. May enter data such as patient or billing data, verifying for accuracy and making corrections, as necessary. Maintain departmental records. Communicates with CRMC patients, physicians, and co-workers in a manner that exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills.
