Lead, Senior or Expert Test & Evaluation Engineer – PAC‑3 The Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) organization at the Boeing Company is looking for a Lead, Senior or Expert Test & Evaluation Engineer to serve as the PAC‑3 Test Technical Lead Engineer in Huntsville, AL. The role focuses on developing, testing, and manufacturing the PAC‑3 RADAR seeker, managing concurrent design, testing, and manufacturing activities, and providing technical oversight to SEIT capability Test Conductors. Position Responsibilities Establish PAC‑3 Program Instructions for verification and validation, ensuring consistency with Boeing DPs, BPIs, and BPGs. Coordinate a multi‑skilled engineering team to develop and execute effective testing strategies from planning through data review. Lead the development of test system requirements and verification methodologies during verification and validation activities. Lead Root Cause/Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations and resolutions on issues related to test activities. Ensure Technical Readiness Review rigor. Support program Risk, Issues, and Opportunities (RIO) management board. Support the testing aspect of proposal preparation. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a non‑US equivalent directly related to the work statement. At least 8 years of experience in analysis of requirements, architecture design, and product design. At least 8 years of experience leading a multi‑skilled engineering team. At least 8 years of experience executing tests to verify and validate requirements. Experience in missile system development and weapon system integration. Experience using technical and program management techniques to manage large‑scale technical development efforts. Experience mentoring junior engineers. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) Master’s or Doctorate of Science degree in Engineering or related science or technology field. Experience in pulse doppler radar system architectures and design/test practices. Experience with PAC‑3 Seeker development, qualification, testing, and fielding. Experience developing test requirements and procedures to validate system and component‑level development requirements. Experience with early program lifecycle development and risk reduction activities. Responsible for Enterprise Standard Gated Process (ESGP), establishing criteria and artifacts and having approval authority for key program milestones (PDR, CDR, etc.). Expertise in digital/analog/mixed signal design, embedded systems, power electronics, RF, systems engineering, or optical system design. Experience leading development of architectural approaches from customer and system requirements. Extensive experience managing/leading engineering projects. Proven experience effectively communicating and collaborating on multi‑discipline teams. Additional Requirements Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required). An active clearance within the past 24 months is considered active. Successful candidates must satisfy the Boeing Conflict of Interest assessment process. Compensation and Benefits Compensation ranges: Lead (Level4) $126,650 – $171,350; Senior (Level5) $154,700 – $209,300; Expert (Level6) $188,700 – $255,300.
